This may seem like a somewhat odd request, but would anybody who lives in the area (or possibly further) be willing to have me help them out with a project car or other mechanical project this summer? I have a really solid grasp of how most systems work, but no practical experience. Even if it's something like a basic brake job, I'd love the chance to turn my theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge.

So if you're willing to show me the ropes, please reply so we can get in touch. I'll even bring the beer if you're into that sort of thing!
